Oak Farm Drive, Milcombe

Having purchased the site with planning permission for 40 bespoke units, our clients commissioned Umaa to redesign parts of the schemeand prepare planning variations to introduce additional units and support anall-affordable housing mix.

Despite being a relatively small site, due to the sensitivevillage setting and planning amendments, this was a complex project incorporating more than 18 different house type variations and requiring careful phasing and management throughout.

The scheme was designed to respond to and complement thelocal vernacular and to continue the style and character of a first phase ofdevelopment already completed on the adjoining site.

The use of high-quality materials and traditional detailing contributes towards a development that is aesthetically pleasing and contextually sensitive.

The project started on site early 2021 and was completed early 2023.
