Working for an award winning 5-star homebuilder, Umaa Architecture was appointed to work on a development of 67 new build homes on a rural village site in Buckinghamshire.
The brief was for a high quality development delivering the correct mix of market and affordable housing and public open space to meet local planning policy.
The masterplan provides a range of detached and semi-detached house types in a low density rural development. Within the scheme, existing trees are retained and protected to provide screening and retain the rural character of the site and each property benefits from a large private garden space. The arrangement of the site into small development blocks allows the formation of private drives and different character areas within the masterplan.
